Buying at Auction Checklist

  • Contact Aurora Conveyancing and ask them to review a contract for sale;
  • Meet with your conveyancer to discuss the contract;
  • Meet with bank/ broker to arrange finance;
  • Arrange building, pest and strata inspection reports (we can assist you with this if you require);
  • Ensure that you have formal loan approval from your bank/broker;
  • Review reports;
  • Arrange cheque for deposit;
  • Decide on a bidding limit;
  • Bid for the property with confidence that you and Aurora Conveyancing have checked over documents and reports; and
  • If you are successful at auction, you will be asked to enter into a contract on the spot, there is no cooling off period.
